The Users Advisory Committee of the Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center (SLVECC) is comprised of direct users of the various EMS, fire, and law enforcement systems within the Salt Lake Valley, including the Public Safety Medical Director. This Committee plays a critical role in overseeing field responders and ensuring that their needs and feedback are integrated into SLVECC’s operational procedures. Members of the Committee, with their firsthand experience from the field, provide valuable insights into the systems and tools used by emergency responders.

The Committee makes documented, evidence-based recommendations to the Operations Advisory Board and Executive Director for improving the effectiveness of SLVECC’s emergency response systems. These recommendations focus on system functionality, communication protocols, and responder needs, ensuring SLVECC’s services are continuously updated to meet field demands. Through their direct oversight of field operations, the Users Advisory Committee helps shape policies and practices that enhance the efficiency and quality of emergency response efforts across the Salt Lake Valley.
